Who we are

iBalance is built by Cassandra Studios ("we", "us", "our"). In this document "the app" means the iBalance iOS application and any updates to it.

Your agreement to these terms

By downloading, installing, or using iBalance, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. We may update these terms from time to time; if we change anything material we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use iBalance on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, sublicense, or resell the app, or use it to build a competing product.

Free trial and subscriptions

iBalance offers a limited free trial (currently 3 days). After the trial, continued access to analysis features requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions auto-renew through your Apple ID unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

Pricing is shown in-app before purchase and may vary by country and currency. Apple handles all payments, taxes, and currency conversion.

Refunds

Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple under their own policy. You can request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds directly because we don't process the payment.

Your content

The videos you record or upload into iBalance, and the pose analysis the app generates from them, are yours. They live on your device. We don't claim ownership and we don't access them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use iBalance to:

• Record people without their consent;
• Build a dataset of other people's movement to sell or distribute;
• Reverse engineer the analysis pipeline or interfere with the app's normal operation;
• Anything illegal in your jurisdiction.

Intellectual property

iBalance, its branding, design, code, and underlying analysis system are owned by Cassandra Studios and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These terms don't transfer any ownership to you — they grant you a limited licence to use the app.

Not medical or professional advice

iBalance is a training aid, not medical or physiotherapy advice. The scores, feedback, and voice cues the app provides are estimates based on visible body geometry. Always train within your ability, listen to your body, and consult a qualified coach or medical professional for serious concerns. By using the app you accept the inherent risks of handstand and inversion training.

Disclaimer of warranties

iBalance is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that pose detection will be accurate in every condition (lighting, distance, occlusion).

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cassandra Studios is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of iBalance, including injury sustained while training. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using iBalance at any time by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms. Termination doesn't refund any unused portion of a paid subscription, which is governed by Apple's refund policy above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes that can't be resolved informally will be settled in the courts of Budapest.
